The Technical Rapid Response Team (Tech RRT), the World Food Program (WFP) and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in collaboration with the Global Technical Assistance Mechanism for Nutrition (GTAM) invite you to a webinar on protecting maternal nutrition in the context of COVID-19.
This webinar was held on Thursday 11th June 2020 at 2pm-3.45pm (GMT+2, Geneva time).
The webinar first provides an overview of maternal nutrition considerations in the COVID-19 context before outlining the recently released brief ‘Protecting Maternal Diets and Nutrition Services and Practices in the Context of COVID-19’.
A series of case studies is then presented focussing on maternal nutrition in a fragile context (Somalia), a systems approach for ensuring continuity of maternal nutrition services during COVID-19 (India) and adaptive measure for maternal nutrition in the COVID-19 context (Pakistan).
The webinar also dedicates substantial time to a question and answer session allowing participants to pose questions to the presenters, and discussion.
