The Tech RRT and the SMART Initiative are pleased to invite you to a practical yet data-driven review of different anthropometric approaches for wasting case detection in the COVID-19 context.
This webinar was done on Monday 27th July 2020 at 14:00-15:45 (Geneva time).
As countries have begun adapting their programming in the context of COVID-19, global guidance has evolved to support these changes. This webinar aims to discuss the opportunities and challenges of different approaches for wasting case detection and demonstrate the application of data to these approaches. Contributions from Bangladesh and Yemen will show how countries have adapted to COVID-19. The webinar will finish with a Q&A session, allowing participants to pose questions to presenters.
The webinar concluded by encouraging countries to make informed, contextualized, and data-driven decisions.
We are pleased to have had contributors from the SMART Initiative, Tech RRT, the Nutrition Sector Coordination in Cox’s Bazar (Bangladesh), MSF-UK, UNICEF Yemen and the Nutrition Cluster Coordination in South Sudan.
